Cabasse, leader in the Hi-Fi acoustics market, has launched a new sound profile, GEN2, available in the Cabasse StreamCONTROL application to further enhance the acoustics of its two popular high-resolution active connected loudspeakers, THE PEARL and THE PEARL AKOYA, both of which have already been distinguished with the Diapason d’Or award. These acoustic enhancements are now available via both the iOS and Android versions of the Cabasse StreamCONTROL app and bring users even greater listening pleasure!
Cabasse connected loudspeakers in constant evolution!
One of the advantages of connected technology is the ability to keep products evolving and constantly improving. Driven by excellence and in pursuit of the perfect sound for each of its speakers, Cabasse has integrated the GEN2 sound optimisation, via the Cabasse StreamCONTROL application directly into its on-board software, thus benefiting all users who already own these loudspeakers. By selecting the new GEN2 profile from the application (resulting from research of the Cabasse engineering team), you will discover a brand new sound signature. You will be surprised to rediscover the THE PEARL range as you’ve never heard it before.
However, it is possible, depending on your preferences, or the configuration of the speakers in your room, to keep the original version (named ‘Original’).
Technical characteristics of GEN2:
- Optimization of the low-frequency dynamics: The signal processing of the new Cabasse DSP reinforces this already popular quality of THE PEARL and THE PEARL AKOYA.
- Optimised automatic room correction to further preserve the overall balance of the loudspeaker when auto-calibration is activated.
- Dynamic Fidelity Enhancer: THE PEARL and THE PEARL AKOYA adapt dynamically to listening volume in order to offer the most faithful sound reproduction.
- Safety and balance at very high volumes: When listening to THE PEARL or THE PEARL AKOYA at maximum volume, the sound pressure limiter protects your speakers and eardrums as much as possible while respecting the overall balance and source dynamics.
The GEN2 profile is now available via the Cabasse StreamCONTROL application for iOS and Android.
